Hello and I have questions

Hi I go by Wartgalore and am totally new to forums in general. I finally felt the need to participate because I have a topic in mind with rhythm of war spoilers and am not quite sure how to go about starting a post haha. I feel like there are a lot of faux pa I might stumble upon

Welcome, friend!  I know it can be a little much trying to figure out which of 3 dozen boards your post may belong in, but thankfully, being RoW-related, it's going to go in the Rhythm of War Spoiler Area.  As they say, " be mindful to put character discussion in the respective board, and worldbuilding/magic talk in the lore board," and if it's neither, then I guess General Thoughts is where you're headed. 

One of the first things to know about any forum is that it's not a big deal if you start a post in the wrong place, since the staff can either move it for you or lock it and let you know where to re-post it.  Once you find the board, just click the big orange button near the top and start typing!  Once you get settled in, if you're not already familiar with HTML formatting you can start fooling around with the toolbar above the text box to spruce things up.  The main thing I'll point out is the "magnifying glass on paper" icon on the far left of said toolbar, which will let you preview how your post is going to look before you submit it.

Honestly, I've only skimmed a few threads so far, but I'm not surprised to see that the community seems faaaaaar better than most lol so I don't think you have too much to worry about.
