Hey everyone,

I tried lurking to see if this has been posted/asked before and I didn't see anything. Also, I tried to cover all potential spoilers, but this is going to be about Wit, Odium, the reader, and how the Cosmere works/interacts, so I'm just gonna put everything else beyond this point in a spoiler block just to CMA.

Spoiler

Yesterday I spent about 6-7 hours reading the Coppermind wiki to try and understand what I just read after finishing Rhythm of War, and I feel I have freshman 101 grasp on the universe. I then learned that Sanderson re-wrote the ending to Words of Radiance.

And that got me thinking...

We learn that at the end of ROW Wit loses some of his memory due to his Breath getting taken away, and the conversation goes a different way with Odium, and Wit knows something's odd that he doesn't have perfect pitch, but doesn't know all of what had happened. Now, the Breath part is still a little lost on me, I haven't read any of those books, but I don't believe the details aren't that important with this question/theory (I think):

What if the rewrite is some meta-level writing that Sanderson did and he's going to add some high-end twist with some character messing with the reader's Breath?

I personally hate re-writes, but if he intends to do this, and pulls it off, it will blow my ever-loving mind.
