Gonigkeit Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 We all know that when an epic uses their powers, they become consumed by darkness. This darkness makes them go into psychosis (seen in the initial rampage when they get their powers), narcissistic personality disorder, and antisocial personality disorder. Also when larcener aka Calamity "steals" an epics powers, it is said that many of them are never the same, staring blankly, much like a lobotomy. That being said when they "claim" their abilities as their own, they become immune to the darkness as they are no longer connected to Calamity. Is this "claiming" also supposed to be a metaphor for something? Am I looking too deep into it? I just wanted to share my theory to see if anyone agrees/disagrees, or if they want to add anything.
AonEne he/him Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I personally think it's probably a coincidence - I don't think Brandon would handle mental health like that - but it could be!
