Seshperankh he/him Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Well . . . Hello This place is what I have been looking for for quite a while. I must admit that I had never heard of Brandon Sanderson before today. but I plan on trying his Books. I found this forum through Writing excusses. I am loving the podcast so far and have already went through season 1. Anyway about me . . . I am what my friends call a movie whore, if its been filmed I have no problem watching it especially if someone else is paying for the ticket. I love to read and that is what drew me into writing. There is alot more about me but for now lets just keep it at this. Jeff . . . Edited September 27, 2011 by Seshperankh
Kuri Shardweaver he/him Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Hi Jeff! Just right off the bat, stay AWAY from the Theories boards until you read the books. It's pretty spoileriffic in there. Outside of that, always nice to see a new face around here, so I hope you enjoy your stay!
KChan she/her Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Kuri is right. The Brandon discussion board is spoiler-free, but you might want to steer away from General Theories til you read the books. Anyways, welcome! I'm glad to see you made it here, and I hope you enjoy Brandon's books! If you want a head start, you can download his standalone novel Warbreaker for free by clicking here - and it's 100% legal! Brandon also has sample chapters of his other books available on his website as well. I hope to see you around! Oh, and by the way, I love your avatar. Also, for introducing yourself, you get a cookie!
Joe ST he/him Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Hai thar Jeff. What's your favourite film?
Seshperankh he/him Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Thanx guys As for my favorite film? Well I think that there is not just one single one that is my favorite for various reasons. If I had to narrow it down, my all time fav. would be "The Seven Samurai". If I had to break it down to my favorite movie I saw this summer it would be "Thor". Foreign Films really tend to catch my attention these days. Here is a link to a movie that just recently caught my attention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Row0rYFQCHs&feature=colike I found a copy on Amazon.com and have now watched it a few times. I also recomend this one Enjoy. Jeff . . . Edited September 27, 2011 by Seshperankh
