The Awakened Salad they/them Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 (edited) Anyone else here watched The Owl House? I just saw the first episode and I think I’m in love. The characters are all likeable and the world feels so vibrant. It’s great because usually when characters are chasing a strange creature and accidentally follow it into a magical universe I’m like “what are you doing?? Look where you’re going!!” but the main character’s just trying to get her fantasy book back which is 100% a valid reason. Also the dialogue is amazing: “Plants! You are now under my command!” “No, my only weakness: dying!” “AND I PRACTICE THE ANCIENT ART OF FANFICTION!” Edited October 5, 2020 by The Awakened Salad I thought there was a thread for this but I might be mistaken? Amity is just the cutest thing, and, yeah Luz writing sappy fanfics is just the best. It comes out on Disney Plus on the 30th, so I’m going to probably binge watch it then.
