Inktober: Radiant Assassins

So I’m combining two sets of prompts for Inktober: the Cosmere one and the Assassins’ Creed one.

For Day 1, Fly and Sisterhood, have Windrunner Maria Thorpe. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to my brown pen right now, so I couldn’t finish coloring her.

I chose Maria because she was the first female Assassin we knew of (unless you played 2 first.) She was definitely the first we met, though she wasn’t an Assassin at the time! She’s also the only female Assassin I have that can fly...

Day 2: Ribbon and Crusade.

 

Willshaper Shay Cormac ties back his hair as he begins his crusade against his former Brethren.

I decided the lack of color helps here, as it makes the ribbon stand out more. The purple ball is his Lightspren, Aria. This one is more AC than Cosmere, but it takes place in my Radiant Assassin ‘verse.

Once again, if anyone can tell me how to turn the picture the correct way, I’d be grateful.

Day 3: Squat and Castle

Arno Dorian squats atop Kholinar Palace. Well, a wall of it. The Windblades are in the background.

The Kholinar Blue is due to Gavilar taking Napoleon’s place. Kholinar is taking the place of Paris in this ‘verse.
 

Once again, I needed more colors than I had pens...

Day 4: Outfit and Rhythm

 

Connor (Ratonhnhake:ton) attuned to the Rhythm of War after plucking his hair into a mohawk.
 

Fun fact: the RL Haudenosaunee would die large portions of their hair red. Connor didn’t in-game, but here his hair shows his mixed origins. Oddly enough, in this universe his tanned skin comes from his Dad! His mom was of a people like the Horneaters. Add in Dad’s Eagle Vision, and Connor can attune Rhythms. In this case: War, as he’s just declared war on his father’s Rite, which is what the mohawk symbolizes. 
 

Connor’s eyes are orange/amber because he is a Stoneward. No Spren, because we don’t know how they’d look outside Shadesmar.

Day 6: Blight and Scull 

 

Dustbringer Io:nhiote blights the land with her surges as she attacks Singers and Fused. The skulls are Parsh skulls.

 

Io is the youngest child of Connor. I picked her Order using the Radiant quiz. Her hair is dark in AC canon; in this ‘verse it has some red in it too. Very little is known of her outside one comic, so I was able to design her as I wished. Her robes are based off her father’s.

Day 5: Heavenly and Recruit

 

Skybreaker Altaïr recruits Windrunner Maria.

Altaïr does not have a sword because he has a Spren instead. Maria’s Spren has decided to be a Skyeel today. The Templar symbol in this world includes Cosmere and Vorin elements.

 

I’m kind of working out a timeline for this world now. 
 

Kassandra lives during the Exile from Ashyn.

Bayek and Aya/Amunet live during the early desolations.

Eivor lives around the Last Desolation

Altaïr and Maria live during the Recreance. Assassins and Templars do not break their Radiant oaths, so both Orders continue bonding the occasional Spren over the years.

Ezio lives during the Hierochrocy.

Nothing much happens during Edward’s story, but he does meet Adewale, who is a Listener in this ‘verse. Ade does bond a Spren, but no one knows of him outside the Assassins.

Now we swap to games.

AC Rogue occurs during the mess in Alethkar prior to Gavilar. AC3 takes place when Gavilar and Dalinar are young, and Connor helps a small area become a free state. Half-Listener Aveline lives at this time.

Unity occurs as Gavilar begins his rise, and Arno befriends him. Shay, Connor, Aveline, and Arno are all alive when the Everstorm comes.

Evie and Jacob live sometime after the events of SA, as does Lydia.

Desmond is watching all this from the future. Eventually, Layla does the same.

Day 7: Crystal and Redemption (yes, I know I’m late)

 

Kassandra offers Deimos, bonded to Yelig-Nar, a chance at Redemption in the form of a perfect gemstone. He does not accept.

 

You can’t see Kass’ broken fabrial spear because it’s behind her back. Kass is a Dustbringer in this ‘verse.

 

I’m changing when Kass and Alex live: the siblings now live during the first Desolation.

Day 8: Dramatic and First Civilization 

 

The Tranquiline Apple (Ie. The Apple of Eden) showing the Rosharan system.

 

Weirdly, most of the people seeking one of these has no clue what an Apple is... in this ‘verse. I think Altaïr may have been Shin. 
 

The Apple is made of copper. And it may be older than Ashyn...

 

I always found the scenes where the Apple activated to be pretty dramatic.

Not a picture yet, but I’ve decided Shay is Thaylen and Edward is Iri. Haytham is half-Alethi and half-Iri. Connor is half-Horneater, 1/4 Alethi and 1/4 Iri. For some reason Haytham did not inherit much (any?) of his father’s blond hair.

Maria is Vedan, Arno is Alethi. Altaïr is Shin. Lucy and Desmond live in the distant future, so don’t necessarily match any current race. I haven’t decided on the other Assassin/Templar races yet.
