Recently i had started wheel of time (reached the dragon reborn) and i noticed a similarity b/w the fuse fabrial that was used to cut off kaladin from stormlight and wheel of time power. Their is this ability in Wot that allows a aes sedai to cut off her contact to the true source..In both these they can feel the power but cant use them. Okay i dont mean this is a bad thing or anything..........I noticed this and thought would see what ur reaction is
Gderu Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 I think this is quite different. When an Aes Sedai shields someone, she puts a block between that person and the True Source. What we see here seems more like stretching the difference between physical and cognitive realm.
