So I started my journey with Malazan, Book of the Fallen today and last night out of curiosity I asked Google how many characters were in it. (There is actually 690).

Also I discovered when you ask the same question on WoT it gives the definite answer of  5 (It's 2,782)

LMAO, if you type it in all the way you get what I assumed you lead me to find, but if you leave out the apostrophe and the S it shows:

That's what I meant. I did not remember the exact wording.
