Hi, I'm Eva, I'm obviously new to the forum and rather new to Sanderson's works. I loaned WoK from the local library in, hm, may or april, loved it and went back for book 2 and 3. I'm finishing my reread of SA and have read the White Sand prose and Warbreaker, which I will forever accidentally refer to as Warbringer by accident (and Oathbreaker, obviously :P). I'm from Austria so I have a harder time getting my tiny hands on the english originals (especially US editions because UK is also expensive but not as expensive as the dumb hardcover translations) but ordering online does allow me to burn my aunt's giftcards so The Final Empire arrived yesterday - I'm 300 pages in and love it. And wow, what a community you've all built, it's amazing! Seeing such a tight interaction between fanbase, author, and author's support staff is really really nice and all the fans I've encountered so far are super helpful and a cool bunch in general.

This community is amazing. It's one of the few places on the internet I have found where people's first instinct isnt to troll. (Though there is some of that too )

Be careful if you go into threads for books you havent read yet. Everyone tries to be careful and not spoil things... but occasionally you might see a spoiler.

What is your favorite charecter so far in the books you have read?

If you had to pick one of the Knight Radients powers, which would you pick and why?

If you are interested in roleplaying, the allyverse is a great group of people.

If you are interested in games and/or roleplaying and/or killing your friends, then you might be interested in Sanderson Elimination. It's basically a game of mafia/werewolf, but made into a Sanderson theme. It's a ton of fun, and where I personally spend most of my time.  There is a game currently with open signups.

Dalinar before his marriage. Look at him, so enthusiastically slaughtering everything that stumbles into his path. I love the banquet scene. No, my absolute favourite is Shallan. I also like Adolin and the "Lord Ruler" ("wow my country is so boring, I wish we had a few of those awesome mountains. Wait, a 'volcano'? Does that mean anything special? ...nevermind, sounds good, install a dozen or so lol it will help with the atmosphere")

Cliché but Windrunner. Flying beats any other power, and the Skybreakers are...not my cup of tea.

Welcome to the Shard! I do the same thing as you; I mix up Warbreaker and Oathbringer. I mean, it would really make sense the other way, right? 

To reiterate what Furamirionind said, there are some really fun forum games and RPs, if that's what you like. My personal favorite is the Alleyverse. Of course, theory discussion is also really interesting, though often riddled with spoilers. I hope you enjoy whatever you choose to participate in!

Hi Everyone! My name is Jose. I was introduced to Brandon Sanerson's book by a co worker in In january. I first read Warbreaker (In 3 days).

Since then i have read WoK, WoR, Edgedancer and Oathbringer in the following 4 months. I have also started the Mistborn series recently and I just finished The Final Empire and have been reading Well of Ascension. I love the Cosmere universe and its great to know that there is a forum to come and express how much these books mean to me!

Stormlight Archives. I know I haven't read most of the series but with what Sanderson puts the characters through. The emotional, physical and mental trials they go through and they still come out the other side is amazing. Especially Dalinar in Oathbringer. He went through a lot remembering the horrors he cause. It was rough and for a moment when Odium was offering to take away the pain, I thought he was going to give in. But in reality, they are all amazing books!

I'd have to agree. I mean, I love his other books, but Stormlight really blows them out of the water.
