LordDN Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 So I have nearly finished the first book, loving it and was thinking about purchasing more. However, there are two versions of every book in the series for some reason, I can't tell any difference aside from the amount of ratings they have. I obviously want to support the author, but as I finished this book in five days I'll want to continue the listen on the next installments in the series, and paying 40USD for every one of them adds up to a hefty sum quite quickly. Is there any point in buying the more expensive book, aside from supporting the author of course? I'd put a picture but for some reason I'm not allowed to demonstrate, try looking it up on Audible to see what I mean. Sorry for the inconvenience. 3

I don't know exactly what you're referring to, but my guess is it's just the American and UK editions- to which if we're talking audible, there's really no difference. Glad you're enjoying the series though- Michael Kramer really does the series justice with his narration. Hope that helps! 1
LordDN Posted July 24, 2019 Author Posted July 24, 2019 Ah, makes sense, one is published by Orion Punlishing Group Ltd., costing 22.64. The other by Macmillan Audio, costing 59.91. It seems very strange that the price would differ so drastically from version to version however.

The British one is probably estimating the cost in pounds. If you're in the US, however, Audible often reigonlocks their titles, making your only choice the Macmillan one, or vice versa. 1

Now I can buy the full series instead of just the first few books. Thanks for the help Edited July 24, 2019 by LordDN

First Witness Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 If you've never got the free book from Audible I can send you one for free. Same goes for anyone, btw.
