EponasSong Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Looking for some beta readers on a short story. Story is about 9.5k words. I guess I would categorize it as a horror/fantasy Basic Summary (made on the fly) Victoria goes back to her childhood home to retrieve the last thing she needs to get into University, her birth certificate. Little does she know that in doing so she will be forced to relive her past and awaken not only the house, but the beasts that live within it. Or is it she who is being awaken for the first time? Please let me know if you would like to help. Right now it's still in its early stages so I'm not looking for a big emphasis on spelling and grammar (Lord knows I'm horrid at both). Looking more for continuity, tone, plot, overall flow and character feed back. I am also looking for a writing group in the western suburbs (around Wheaton) of Chicago. 1
