I think I am here. he/him Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) So, is there a time we’re starting? Or are we waiting for more signups? Also, there should totally be a group of globe-earthers on this world who are like flat-earthers on our world, and they don’t at all believe the world is flat and think the government is trying to trick them Edited March 9, 2019 by I think I am here. 1
Snipexe he/him Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I think Sorana and I were likely going to start sometime this weekend, or maybe next week, depending on how schedules work out. I'd also like a few more people to sign up if possible.
+Sorana she/her Posted March 10, 2019 Author Posted March 10, 2019 A short update: I'm working on finalising the OP right now, and then Snipexe will look it over. Afterwards one of us will start the thread.
Vargo Seldon he/him Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Hello all, I'd like to join this. Here's a character. Spoiler Name: Taz Dustwind Appearance: Tall gruff-looking man. Close-cropped blond hair, sort of angular facial features, piercing brown eyes. Good Physique from menial labor Investiture: None. A grit. Personality: A little slow mentally, but has good battle instincts. He's gruff, but honest. Would rather make his living an honest hard way than a dishonest easy way. Skills: Extremely good with a staff. Almost good enough to intercept a bullet, provided the gun's movements are easy to track. Kind of fifty-fifty. Reasonable shot with any sort of gun, but wouldn't be winning any awards. Weaknesses: Slightly... stupid. Also, far too honest to take advantage needed in the Wild West. Had a back injury from menial labor, and still isn't able to use his left arm as effectively as his right. Has an unhealthy fear of alchahol due to past experience. A little will turn him into a raving lunatic. Equipment: A bow staff made of good solid oak. One canteen of water. Backstory: Was born in a dust storm outside of Burning, and made his way there with his family. Coal mining became his families business, until his mother and father were caught in the explosion that gave burning it's name. He worked in the mines, until a back injury forced his employers to fire him. He wandered to Juole, where he fell into the gang life, and became little more than a drunkard. He met a hermit who knocked him out of his drunkenness, and trained him. The hermit wandered away and jumped off of the edge of the world (was always a little screwy). He became obsessed with the legend of Greenhara. Affiliation: As a mercenary, himself.

One question regarding his ability with the staff and how this works together with his left arm. Do you have an explanation why he has a chance to intercept a bullet without full movement of his arm?
Vargo Seldon he/him Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 He mostly uses his right arm. He sometimes uses his left arm for power strokes or stability, but his right hand is large enough to maneuver the staff well.

Just don't abuse it, preferably have him fail more often than pull it off.
