The one time you almost caught up with me, I hadn't posted in weeks. When I came back, I swear I posted like 40 times in a day.

This post is to inform you that you are no longer ahead of me as of this post, because I registered after you, and therefore have more posts per day, and therefore am still slightly ahead of you. However, just to be certain, I will remain online until I can make more posts to regain my position.

Also: Silus, you don't stand a chance. I am coming.

Chaos: We'll see. I doubt I can catch you, so I really can't threaten you. But I'll try.

only by a handful of days. A single day of hard spamming can bring up my average posts per day no prob.

Well, if you look at posts made in light of time spent online (posts per hour has to be the most ridiculous unit I've ever used), I beat all three of you. However, there are also probably a fairly large number of people who logged on once, made like twenty posts in an hour, and never came back, meaning I don't take top honors there either. I just can't win. Sigh.

But I have the Nexus RP.  I post there a ton, and I'm the only one who can post there like that.  It may not be much in the face of Andrew's posts-per-hour, but it's something!  I'm also second on most topics.

I'll just have to rant more. :D

Which means everyone will have more stuff to ignore. :P

I have yet to seriously undertake any RPing, mostly because I think I'll like it and it will subsequently eat large amounts of time that I really don't have. I'll probably join up at some point in the future, but for now, I'm pushed for time enough as it is without adding another thing to the list.

So far the biggest time investment we've had is the actual application process.  The pace that you go at is up to you.  I'll usually post soon after someone else, but if you don't want to put time into it you don't have to.  A post a day is a pretty good idea of how it goes for us.  Unlike the monster that is the Mistborn RP, whose main topic is longer than WELL OF ASCENSION.

Which is great, if you like the nobility, like anyone with sense should :P

You misunderstand me, Silus. I'm aware that I could go at whatever pace I want to. The problem is that I'm relatively convinced that I would rather enjoy RPing, and would spend large amounts of time doing it rather than say, my Stats homework. I have no problem with RPing itself as a time investment. Instead, I just have doubts as to my own self-control. Well-founded doubts, as it turns out, since I ended up watching movies and talking to friends all day yesterday, which was supposed to be my day to do anything and everything homework. And as further evidenced by the fact that I'm currently posting here, when I should be doing my psych readings.

You mean you don't want to have 10+ characters on the Mistborn RP!? :P

I have no self control, either.

Your jab does not go unnoticed, Chaos.  The nobility just strikes me as being Jane Austen with less romance and in Luthadel.  And I despise those books.

I was wondering if that was the point you were making.  I get that.  But if you change your mind!

I don't know, I haven't read Jane Austen :P

Secretly, chaos IS Jane Austen.

Sorry. IPB doesn't default store time logged in, and this plugin which restored it wasn't retroactive.

Reputation is awesome. I have big plans for it. You can give or subtract reputation on the lower right side of any post.

I see. Also: since chaos has a higher rep number than me, i'm going to take it as a ranking system, meaning lower is better. So Silus is sittin' pretty sweet there with his -1.

I see. Kinda like over at TWG, except it doesn't go off of post count, but up-votes.

Also: What's the purpose of all the different groups? I assume there's some sort of hierarchy/job listing planned with that?

Edit: also, Global moderator is obvious, of course.

I've also installed an award system. There will probably be something based on reputation

Yeah, I need to make a post about the groups. Basically, here's the lowdown:

Worldbringers - Wiki People

Ardents - Theory People

Returned - Gallery People

Radiants - Community/News

Obligators - Fanfic/RP People

Soulcasters - Tech People

Names subject to change, but that's the idea. We'll put people in those groups as needed, though I have a few ideas for Ardents.
