WoB Typos

How should we handle typos in WoBs?  Obviously if there's a transcription error, that's one thing.  However, what should we do if there's a text source (i.e. Reddit) where something is misspelled?  Should we correct it or leave it as is?  For instance, Brandon frequently misspells canon on Reddit.

According to the Style Guide, those should be corrected.

Editing Text Sources

Obvious mechanical errors (spellings, capitalization, etc.) in the source material may be corrected, even if made by Brandon himself.

 

For example, “allomancy” should be corrected to “Allomancy”.
