I have only gone ice skating once when I was 5 I think. I live by a pond and see people ice skating on it all the time in winter but I've never felt the inclination to join in.

Does it ever collapse in places ?

Its the coldest I've seen. It was in Celcius though, not sure what you use in Austrailia, but its around -76 F.

We use degrees, but that would still be freezing.

It would be around -59 degrees

How do you even live in weather that cold?

I don't have a problem with snow, its the cold. (No I didn't, tell me?)

The pun was snow is cool and cool is cold.

Double word. :D

I really wanna build a snowman right now, even though its completely sunny and it doesn't even snow here :D

Usually (where I am anyway), you can't actually build snowmen because the snow isn't warm enough. It has to be closer to 0 degrees and it doesn't get that warm until April. So people build ice sculptures instead. They are cooler anyway.

Please tell me ice sculptures are as gorgeous as they sound?

And you can have an upvote if you realised this was me and not Elsa straight away =)

What do they build ice sculptures of? And are they good?

Anything really. I've seen mini castles that you can walk in (made by professionals), but where I live they did an amateur contest and they were mostly animals and stuff. They can be awesome. Some people dye them though and it kinda ruins it (to me, anyway). The castle that I saw though was clear like glass. I know a guy who can make a snowfort and carve real-looking faces in it, and then shine lights through them. Its cool.

What do you dye ice with?

(So iI find it hilarious that Elsa and I, the Australians, have taken on the personas of Elsa and kind of Anna, from Norway. Yet we know nothing about ice. Or snow. Or cold).

I haven't done an ice sculpture before actually. I don't go outside much in the winter. But I think they just use spray paint.
