Question about larkin

So a larkin can absorb the stormlight from a surgebinder but can they absorb everyday stormlight from a gem and can they dish out the stormlight they have already absorbed like a stormlight canister?

If they could it would be pretty handy for a surgebinder to have a larkin around at all times to steal light from everyone and everything. Could be why they're so sought after.

We literally know just about nothing on larkin. We'll have to wait for Book 3 and the next Rysn interlude before we're able to answer any of those questions

We..don't really know yet. We guess that they have at least some degree of intelligence, and form a bond with their owner. I assume they can get stormlight from other sources, but who knows? They are important to Surgebinders; the KR chart has a pair of them in the background.

Yeah, we... really don't know anything. They could draw Stormlight by milking chulls, for all we know.

Don't you think that since rysn was bonded with a larkin there's a pretty good chance she would be a future radiant in the second half of stormlight?

My guess is that she will turn out to be a dustbringer considering she takes her bravery / obedience to extreme levels. I think she will be paralyzed, but stormlight will eventually heal her.
