Speculation about what Brandon will write next

So I'm wondering at this point what is up next for Brandon. I see he's finished the 2nd draft of Firefight, the 3rd draft of the novella Sixth of the Dusk, and the 1st draft of the Legion followup (all of which I'm very excited about). I assume that all of these will be out toward the end of the year or going into early next year. Has anyone heard him say what he plans next? I thought I remember reading something where he talked about his general gameplan for upcoming books. I'd assume that it's going to be a bigger novel since he's doing a YA and some novellas after WOR. If I were to guess I would say that it's the Alloy of Law sequel, since he read a chapter from it at a signing last year. I'd love to see Nightblood before the next Stormlight book to sort of tie some things together.

Well there is this thread discussing the same thing so I suggest you go and have a gander =) But as far as I know Brandon will be moving on to SA 3 next. Firefight will be out early next year and Sixth of Dusk should be released this year... Shadows of Self has been postponed for a while. And Nightblood is also still far off.

I wish it were the 2nd Elantris book. I thought it was suppose to come out for Elantris' 10th anniversary.

That was always kind of an ideal outcome for him, never necessarily certain though. He started a lot of new projects (Steelheart, Rithmatist, Sixth of the Dusk, Legion, Mistborn Adventures), and Elantris 2 really fell into the background. Plus, Tor really wants SA3 soon, so that bumped it way out.
