I dont feel the diagram is perfectly accurate, a good guess, but I don't feel its perfect. For example, the rainwings are definitely related to the leafwings, but before the legend of the hive.

Yeah. The leafwings are a joint realation between originwings and rainwings. They hold similar properties (leafspeak, gain energy from the sun) and are equal. The Originwings died out and lost their leafspeak. Their fire breath was distributed between Nightwings, Sandwings, and Scalewings. Scalewings then evolved into Skywings and Mudwings because they both have a rare scale ability related to fire. I will update it in the future, as I am rereading book 15. Originwings and Leafwings are NOT the same. They hold no properties that are similar.
