Heralds and Shardblades

I've been lurking here for a while, but I never had a theory I thought was worth posting until now. The other day as I was driving home from work, I was thinking about what Brandon said about Nightblood being pretty much the same thing as a shardblade, only more powerful. The part about it being more powerful than a shardblade made me think that it might be on the same level as an Honorblade. Now obviously it can't be an Honorblade because it was created by investing a thousand breaths, which are of Endowment. This got me thinking that maybe it was an Endowmentblade (obviously I made that term up, but for lack of a better one that's what I'm using). And then I thought, what if each shard could create their own Heralds? Honor had 10, so obviously this was something he could do more than once. Why should he be unique in this regard? And if each shard is actually capable of creating their own Heralds, what if we've already seen some of them? Maybe the Returned are Heralds of Endowment. I'd like to hear what you all think.

Not sure if it is related, but in AoL Wax refers to the 10 faceless imortals of Harmony. Is 10 a significant number for the Shards?

On Rasharkin at least ten is hugely significant. It could be more significant than we've yet seen throughout the rest of the Cosmere too.
