Either way, it's a big risk. So we have to decide what risk we want to take. It depends on numbers. However the vote goes, next cycle we are down to six (assuming they get a kill in here and wherever they could, because why wouldn't they?). If we kill one of them, and they are elim, then the elim team is down to two, and we know who they are. That puts us at 4:2 in our favour, shenanigans withstanding. If we vote for someone else, and they are the elim team, there is nothing we can do. If they are telling the truth, and we kill one of them, and the elim team is 3 players, then there is nothing we can do. If they are telling the truth and the elim team is less than 3 players, we still have advantage of numbers, even without one of them. I've mostly been of the opinion that the Elim team is three players, and I'm not saying that because it means that you shouldn't kill one of my team . The EIB agents can get up to three players in their doc. The ability for Villagers to communicate is extremely valuable, because it reduces the lack of information, and that's especially important in a blackout game. If the job of the Elims is to kill all of the Informants, then they already have a hard time because they don't know which players they have to kill. They might also have some sort of scan to help them with that, but I doubt it since they haven't killed an Informant since C1. That's all been us. Because of that, for most of this game I've believed that there is a team of three Elims to balance the three Villagers who can communicate. However, the caveat of the EIB agents is that when we add a player to our doc, the person who adds them dies if they aren't Village-aligned. So you can either have one player in the doc, or three, so the EIB isn't quite as powerful as one might think. But then again, if the agent who adds the person dies, then the remaining agent has a confirmed non-Villager. So it's still sort of powerful. I don't know. I want to say that there are three Elims, because that seems to mirror the three in the Bureau doc. Assuming no neutrals, that gives us eight remaining, which I think is a reasonable pool of people. Another reason for more Elims is that it makes it slightly less arduous for them to guess who is an Informant, assuming that is even their win-con. I don't think that it's necessary to lynch one of us to learn that we're honest. If the Elims have half a zincmind between them, they'll kill one of Azure, Tuatara, and I today. That will be enough of a sign that we're honest, and if one of us gets lynched this Cycle then you'll only have one cleared Villager left next Cycle. Do you believe that it's worth the risk of trusting us to have two cleared Villagers next Cycle? EDIT: 2 minutes ago, Amethyst Scorpion said: @Mauve Crocodile you haven't cast a vote yet have you? Not yet. Tuatara is voting on Swan because they find Swan the most suspicous. I'm inclined to agree, because of the people on our list of suspicions, Coral has a decent number of large posts, which would be a point in their favour in the eyes of a Villager, and makes them a threat because they'd be harder to lynch. But I'm still undecided, because that's not especially sound reasoning, and my instincts have failed me for three lynches in a row. Edited July 17, 2018 by Mauve Crocodile Reply to Amethyst

Azure Mouse Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 I believe it's a take on the saying 'if they had half a brain between them' except Mistborn. Anyway, hello, I'm here. Yep, I'm a EIB, and we were wondering when we could reveal that. Anyway, Azure Mouse because I wouldn't lynch one of our own. Also, sorry for not being that active, I was sleeping, and I'll have some other stuff to do today. Hopefully I'll get time in to put a vote.
Cream Tuatara Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 @Coral Swan Could we get some input from you?
Amber Vulture Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 I'm getting increasingly suspicious of those refusing to put a little trust in the claim. Yes, I may be trusting it too easily, but I see it as a good chance to actually win. Because if we lynch one, one is killed by eliminators, that's two confirmed villagers out if the way. In an effort to see if their claim is real, Scorpion and Coral Swan. I've been a bit suspicious of them since after the Falcon lynch. Their reaction seemed a bit overly dramatic, and since then they've remained more quiet than they've been in past cycles.
Indigo Weasel Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I've got to side with tho EIB. amethyst scorpion Coral Swan I really don't want to make a mistake, but I've gotta go with my gut when nothing else works. Edit: the thing I'm most afraid of is being that guy that's been pocketed by the entire elim team! At this point I've narrowed it down to either crocodile, mouse and tuatara or dingo scorpion and swan. While vulture and I are either right or being pocketed Edited July 18, 2018 by Indigo Weasel
Cream Tuatara Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 I will say that just because we are villagers with a doc doesn't mean that we know anyone else's alignments. I'm suspicious of Coral, and increasingly of Dingo, but I think the three of us are open to other suggestions.

But I'll stick with Coral for now. Hopefully they respond soon.
Indigo Weasel Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 With 8 of us left and Amber and I siding with the story that 3 people agree to, that leaves the other 3 with being on the opposite team. The only other possibility is that Amber is pocketing me, but I don't think Amber is pocketing me though. To me, it seems like vulture and I are the swing votes. So it just has to be us, because everyone else seems to be siding in groups of 3
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Unless you're pocketing me... Seriously, it's always this point in a game where I get overly paranoid and suspicious of everything. But Weasel, you're right. The fact Scorpion and Dingo are refusing to see the possibility of a positive outcome to the claim makes me very suspicious. Maybe it would be better to lynch one of them instead of Coral. EDIT: That was the wrong way to phrase it. Dingo has pointed out it could be good, but they're not willing to trust it. The same seems to be for Scorpion. Edited July 18, 2018 by Amber Vulture
Indigo Weasel Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 All I know is that we (vulture and I) can't vote differently than the team we choose yo side with, otherwise our votes are wasted.
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Okay, I've been fairly certain that Mouse has been village for a while. I also believe Tuatara's may have been set up by the elim team with the vote manipulation this last vote. I haven't had much of an opinion on Croc, but because of my trust in the other two, I'll believe they're village. I am, however, hesitant to vote on Swan, because until this last cycle, I've felt they're pretty village. I'm going to try to review Dingo and Scorpions posts. However, I'm at work, so that might take a minute.
Indigo Weasel Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Can someone do a vote count? I am only glancing every couple minutes, and don't have enough time to review
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Vote count: Coral Swan (3) - Amber Vulture, Cream Tuatara's, Indigo Weasel Azure Mouse (1) - Melon Dingo EDIT: Fixed the vote count. Fifth's was right. Edited July 18, 2018 by Amber Vulture

Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Okay, based on the statements made during the Falcon lynch, I'm switching my vote off Swan and back onto Scorpion. Both Dingo and Swan were very vocally against lynching Falcon. While this could have been an elim ploy to distance themselves from a village lynch, it can't be ignored entirely.
Indigo Weasel Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) I will be keeping my vote on coral swan. If I am correct, then I believe that the others are more on my team than anyone else, so I will keep my vote there, because that's where they have their votes. Maybe I can change my vote if all of the change their votes, but I will be going to bed soon, so it would have to be quick. Edit: like 30 minutes or so. Edited July 18, 2018 by Indigo Weasel
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Alright, we're less than two hours from the end of cycle and neither Azure nor Mauve have placed votes. This causes me a bit ofnconcern, because that leaves the vote very open to elim manipulation if their claim is true. If they've lied about the claim and are really the elim team, they could feel comfortable with not voting, believing we'll kill ourselves in the confusion. Either way, I want to hear from them soon. Edited July 18, 2018 by Amber Vulture My phone keeps autocorrecting Mauve to Maybe...
Melon Dingo Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Dovie'andi se tovya sagain. I hope you guys are right about this, although I cannot support a lynch on Swan as I am 95% sure he/she is a refugee. Azure Mouse. Amethyst Scorpion. For the same reasons as earlier. If this is all some elaborate hoax, I'll not be impressed
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) I hope this attempt at tagging works, because I really want to hear more from Azure and Mauve, who have both been unusually quiet this cycle (especially Azure). @Mauve Crocodile @Azure Mouse EDIT: Apparently not. This mobile browser is the worst. Edited July 18, 2018 by Amber Vulture
Azure Mouse Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 (edited) Okay, I've freed myself up some time, but I don't have much. Currrntly, there's 30 minutes until rollover, so I think I better make my vote. Coral Swan has recently gained my suspicion, and I believe I may have discussed why before but I don't have time to explain now. As for Tuatara, before they were Deputized (added to the doc) they were just a refugee. I don't have much suspicion for Amethyst yet, I have a little on Indigo, and maybe a bit more on Melon, but Coral's the most right now. I've never really seen the suspicion against Amber, but idk. Anyway, it's going to be fun revealing who I am, just to see if people predicted my identity. Right, well, I gotta go now, look forward to rollover. Edit: Ha! Didn't have to tag me, Amber, I was already writing my post when I saw your reply! Edited July 18, 2018 by Azure Mouse

Amethyst Scorpion Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Alright, I'm awake and here to vote. not much time left. I'm willing to accept that they're telling the truth about their faction, and from the small pool of people left for me to choose from, my vote goes to Amber Vulture Don't ask why, bc it's simply due to PoE. I'm not as suspicious of Dingo, as would be clear by the removal of my vote from him. You're my best guess at an elim at this point. I think I'm dead to the lynch anyway to whatevs
Amber Vulture Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 You might actually be safe, as it seems the vote has tipped toward Swan. It also depends on what kind of vote manipulation is out there.
Seonid he/him Posted July 18, 2018 Author Posted July 18, 2018 Cycle is over! Sorry if the countdown was broken - I never noticed it.
