dbmeboy
Quick question for those of you who are better versed in realmatic theory than I am: We now know that aluminum cannot be soulcast and cannot be affected by allomancy. I'd speculate that aluminum may be "immune" to all of the cosmere magic systems. What other interactions could that lead to with the other systems? Could an aluminum shield block a shardblade? Swimmingly he/him
I think personally that it's a quirk of Allomancy. Larkins seem to fulfil a similar role in SA.
dbmeboy
I thought quirk of allomancy too, but with the revelation that it also cannot be soulcast, it opens up possibilities.
Swimmingly he/him
Also cannot be soulcast? What? When did we hear this? Edit: actually, the book says it can ONLY be made by soulcasting. Edited March 17, 2014 by Swimmingly
name_here
Yeah, it can be Soulcast. Though it is possible that every system does have some "exempt" material. There's aluminum, Ralkast the unforgettable metal, and now a Shardblade-proof Oathgate casing.
