dbmeboy Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Quick question for those of you who are better versed in realmatic theory than I am: We now know that aluminum cannot be soulcast and cannot be affected by allomancy. I'd speculate that aluminum may be "immune" to all of the cosmere magic systems. What other interactions could that lead to with the other systems? Could an aluminum shield block a shardblade? Swimmingly he/him Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I think personally that it's a quirk of Allomancy. Larkins seem to fulfil a similar role in SA.

name_here Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Yeah, it can be Soulcast. Though it is possible that every system does have some "exempt" material. There's aluminum, Ralkast the unforgettable metal, and now a Shardblade-proof Oathgate casing.
