What is Vax???

This word, Vax, appears from time to time. When Ati goes into the Beyond he mentions it, and in the Ars Arcanum of Elantris, it mentions that the manifestation of Investiture in Vax is different from Elantris. Is it another planet? Does it contain a shard? If so, is it one that we still do not know?
