So I have been working on a voice acting demo reel to help apply for more acting work but and I love the Cosmere so I was thinking I could read/act out some of the more exciting and/or dramatic scenes from the various books. I would and have been rereading the Stormlight Archives but I was hoping I could get a little bit of help. Anyone have any quotes or conversations they think would sound awesome in audio?  It could be from any books in the Cosmere though I am pulling from other authors as well such as Jim Butcher and Charles Stross. Thanks for all your help and when I've completed it I'll leave a link for anyone who is interested.

For full conversations, I think any of Hoid's stories throughout the cosmere would be great.

I don't remember many quotes off the top of my head except for Kaladin in Words of Radiance when he says "Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do."

That is my favorite one

If you’re doing comedy at all, I’d reccomend some of Lightsongs scenes with Blushweaver.  And Wayne’s POVs are always great, especially when he acts as Professor Hanlanaze to get into the party in SoS, and when he tells Ranette a last goodbye in BoM.

By the way, Merry Christmas y’all.

Shallan and Lightsong both have a lot of great comedic one-liners, if those work for you.

I also think the scene between Dalinar and Kadash near the beginning of the book (I think it's when they're sparring) is a great moment.

Wax: She assumes that our detective style isn't normally the punchy-punchy, stabby-stabby type.

Wayne: To be fair, it's usually a more shooty-shooty, whacky-whacky type.

Or Spook's street slang, that whole conversation where they're making fun of Breeze. Well of Ascension I think

I love this quote, and second it.

The one in my signature that I am too lazy to retype.

And this.

My signature has some good comedy ones (they're slightly modified btw), and Pattern in OB has a couple if you don't mind maths jokes.

I'd also recommend looking at Bridge Four for comedy quotes, or Sazed in Mistborn for serious ones.

Sorry I have no direct quotes to give you.
