Hey guys, I'm Sai Theja. I started reading Sanderson's books after recommendation from my cousin and I gotta say, I was mind blown after the first two Stormlight books. Then I started reading other Cosmere books starting with Elantris. I read first Mistborn trilogy, Warbreaker and completed Oathbringer a couple weeks back. I wanted to discuss it with someone and then came across this fan site. I'm amazed with the fanbase and their enthusiasm. The Cosmere is going to be an epic no doubt. Cheers!!

Welcome.
You should try to find some time for the Wax and Wayne Mistborn series. I really enjoyed it!

Yeah. I'm currently reading Shadows of Self. I'm very much interested in the world with Harmony. Looking forward to his interactions with Wax.

I definitely agree with you there. Wax is one of my favorites.

Surgebinding for sure. Even though Feruchemy and Allomancy are interesting, their powers get diluted over generations. But in case of Surgebinding, the powers depend on the nature of the Nahel bond. In terms of absolute power, one could argue that Feruchemist+Mistborn > Surgebinder. (Fifth Ideal maybe?).

So, my order would be: 1. Surgebinding

                                      2. Allomancy, Feruchemy......Hemalurgy

                                      3. Awakening

                                      4. Aon Dor

What about you?

My favorite is Allomancy, Feruchemy and Hemalurgy. I love all of the complexities and how they interact with eachother.

A full feruchemist and mistborn could definitely beat a full radiant. They can basically heal from anything and compounding speed and strength could easily let you destroy shardplate as well as getting around the shardblade pretty easily.

I think it definitely depends on the radiant, their order and ideals that have been sworn. We have no idea the speed that a spren could move at, how fast they can adjust their physical form, I.E. how fast could she shift from shardblade to shardfork, if she became a rapidly moving piece of cheese wire, it would make it kind of difficult for a full-born to get a hit in.

Not a spoiler of any sort, but -- it's subtle. When there is direct interaction, I really enjoyed it. I liked the way it's done, too. =D
