Is it bad now that I have a readable copy on my desktop that I can now get to typing a summary for class due in less than 12 hours? Still going to Wal-Mart tonight in hopes of finding a physical copy too.

Go to "Manage Your Kindle" on the main Amazon site and you should be able to choose to download it manually. That's what I just did, but then right before I was about to transfer it, it showed up on my device anyway. Tricksy, Amazon!
