Kaladin "dies"

...And then he has a dramatic return, same as in book 1, 2 and 3? In the mean time, Bridge Four happily continues to disbelieve he died, and iare 100% proven correct in that assumption? (I refuse to accept any other sort of death).

Moash will kill him with the knife used to kill the herald. There will be witnesses. Kal will remain dead for the rest of book 4.

Bonus round:

Kal will be mid uttering the forth ideal.

It will be after a Moash/Kaladin fight which Kal wins but decides to spare or attempt to redeem Moash, not realizing he has the knife.

We need reliable witnesses at least one of is from bridge 4. Im guessing Rock.

Rock then kills the storms out of Moash.

Moash can't do this, a thunderclast will have accidentally stepped on him between book 3 and 4. :)

I'll edit this once I get home and think about this more.

Off the cuff:

Navani dies from Ialai, but it looks like someone else did. This causes Dalinar to become the Blackthorn in full once again and restarts he progress swearing the Fourth Ideal.

We'll find out how shardplate is made.

Szeth kills Nale on Dalinars(the Blackthron) orders.

Rock or Skar become a full Radiant.

Rlain becomes a full Skybreaker.

Veni becomes a Willshaper and switches sides, becoming a spy for the KR.

Kelek will appear on screen again and might have an encounter with Venli, being that she's in his order. Also because it'll be Eshonai's book and she was on the path to be a Willshaper.

Nightblood gets drawn in a highstorm/everstorm(storms I hope this happens).

A huge cosmere cameo. Either Kelsier, Harmony or Khriss.

They get the fabrial in Urithiru to work and thus awake the Sibiling.

Cultivation makes an on-screen appearance in the present for the first time.

Jasnah begins the plan to kill the Heralds behind Dalinar's and the others back.

Some important viewpoint character will discover the Diagram.

The war starts in earnest and full-scale battles start happening all around Roshar.

Adolin reawakens Mara, but doesn't form a nahel bond.

Teft, Skar, Rock or Sigzil are going to die while Kaladin is trying to protect someone, most likely a lighteyes.

But how else will Kal take Jezrien's place as herald?

Jezrien who's oath-blade provides the power of the windrunners.

Who's divine attributes are leadership and protection.

If Im right you'll see a bunch of bonding between kaladin and others in the first two thirds of book 4. With the others coming to depend on kaladin. Then his death will be used to mark the beginning of a set of massive losses for the humans along with a bunch of major characters getting severely broken up at kals apparent true death.

The first on-screen summoning of shard plate will happen when Hoid summons a shardplate cod-piece to tell the Story of the Recreance in interpretive dance. There will also be a chorus of Aviar birds, the end effect will be a lot like I just can't wait to be King from the Lion King, but with a lot more Hoid.

OB was all about defying truth (see the Ketek of Oathbringer). The next installment will feature this truth coming back with a vengeance.

Sadeas murder will come back to haunt everyone. I predict Adolin going down a dark path for having enjoyed the murder and this satisfaction being the main motivation for it. Maybe when he sees how his home has been traeted this will cause hatred for the parshmen in him. He will want to have his revenge. And this is going to be the start of a long and twisted road. Dalinar will not be pleased.

The Ghostbloods will play a more open role. They will cause tension between Shallan and Jasnah. (You did whaaat? Seriously Shallan, right after my supposed death you allied yourself with my murderers? Didn`t you promise never to lie to me again?)

So the newly wed couple will be oucasts from Alethi society since Jasnah is Queen of Alethkhar and Dalinar leads the Radiants.

Szeth will have to wrestle with everyone hating on him for being the assassin in white. Even our PoV`s will feel ambivalent about him. He will also have to deal with his inner demons telling him how he caused the death of hundred of thousends of people by killing kings and leaders. He will have to step up and take responsibility like Dalinar did. Or he doesn´t.

Behold my grand tinfoil-hat conspiracy.

Shallan and Adolin will retreat to Aimia to not be judged anymore by anyone. This sure will solve all problems.

Adolin will duell each and every day. Shallan will keep pretending this is allright and ok. This is just an extended honeymoon, right? right? ....Because when you are going to be outcasts, why not enjoy it?  Besides there is so much to study here, those Aimians and those creatures.... Szeth will be charged to retrieve  them, but he will likewise join team outcast, because he is tired of everyone telling him he is evil. Nightblood gets confused by that talk.

He just wants to sip his purple-wine at the beach of Aimia and relax for once.
