Hello all, 

My name is Reilly. I am a long time Sanderson fan as have read all of the cosmere novels multiple times, as well as the majority of Brandon's other works (just missing legion and alcatraz). I have decided to join in to discuss the fan theories, especially regarding The Stormlight Archive, that others have posted or that I have. 

Regarding the Cosmere:

My favourite cosmere series is The Stormlight Archive. My favourite character in the series is Dalinar. 

In Mistborn Vin and Ham are my favorites,  and Wax and Steris in the second series. 

My favourite Cosmere short is The Emporer's Soul. 

Personally,  I am 25 and work in medical research and coach competitive swimming. I was at one point involved in a technology forum as a Global Mod/Admin and was on that forum's podcast. 

I look forward getting to know all of you.

Wow, the cookie wars have spread even to the welcome forums. I remember when people would just say welcome, talk about Sanderson and give upvotes to the new sharder.

YAY for Vin, her nonchalant attitude towards killing makes me love her. Wait, that makes me sound crazy. I totally don't relate to that...not a bit

My personal favorite is Mistborn, but I get loving Stormlight Archive. It's just so freaking cool

I am ever wary of suspicious free cookies,  baked or unbaked, however pie is another thing altogether.

perhaps. But the Dark Alley will likely exploit your love of pies. I suggest baking your own, and only accepting pies from those you trust.

@Benjamin_Stormblessed ok first off, If you want someone to see your reply, it is advised to 1) quote their previous quote or a part of it if it is wrong 2) mention them using their name. Both of these will send notifications to the said someone. If you don't do either of this, then there is a pretty good chance that they won't see. Secondly, chill with the Dark Alley condemnation. It's just a fun joke to give to new members of the shard. But new members are now making it seem like a serious thing when it's just for fun. Also, @Ookla the Capricious, it is customary to hand out an upvote with the cookie. Right now, there are several posts in this topic, yet only 2 upvotes, and they are from me. This forum is about welcoming newcomers, not forcing cookie propaganda down their throats

 

Edit: also @Melovespie, if you want to get notifications when people post in your topic, then you should change it in the settings. It is much better than manually following it
