Madness
Might be developing an Erikson podcast given his desire to reach out directly to his fans, wherever they might be. We're starting with one and seeing how it might move forward organically, given that even just crowdsourcing ideas on his official author page gives the impression he'd have topics to speak on for years. As per the post on his official author page and the linked post from Malazan Empire forum, what would you like to Erikson orate about?! Cheers. NamelessThirteenth
Maybe the creation of his world, his inspirations and that... On the topic, does anyone know where I can find clear summaries for each book? It gives me a headache trying to remember all the sub-sub-sub-sub-characters which become the saviours of the world by book 10
Ammanas
@NamelessThirteenth This may be longer and more in depth than what you are looking for, but here is my suggestion: https://www.tor.com/series/malazan-reread-of-the-fallen/

Thanks, Ammanas.
Ammanas
I guess my question would be that Erikson has stated, in past interviews, that the 10 book malazan series was inspired by the Iliad and the Kharkanus book were inspired by Shakespeare; then what will be inspiration behind the Karsa books?
Madness
Good question, Ammanas, not one I've seen specifically asked yet.
