Bridgemen soldiers

 whenever reading about the bridgemen guarding Dalinar  they're always described as being in uniform. But when they're fighting on the battlefield do they have any type of armor.

When the bridgemen go to Dalinar's Quartermaster to get their new uniforms near the beginning of WoR, he talks about armor:

Moash took it. "We're going to wear our leather jerkins over these?"

"Ha!" Rind said. "The ones tied with so much bone that you look like some western skullbearer on feast day? I've heard of that. But no, Brightlord Dalinar says you're each to be outfitted with breastplates, steel caps, new spears. Chainmail for the battlefield, if you need it."

Yes. They are Soldier's in Dalinar Kholin's army, who is a very effective warlord. He has lots of armour, and is definitely going to outfit his bodyguards with armour when on the battlefield.

No problem. I've seen quite a bit of good fan art of Bridge Four, but none with armor, unfortunately. 

I'd draw it myself, but the extent of my talent is doodling a chull cart on my stats notes.

Yea this my  quick attempt on drawing Shardplate from Words of Radiance. Its not good haha. Would love to see some in Othabringer so I can try and draw it
