Lift asked the Nightwatcher not to change. She complains at the end of Edgedancer that it didn't work, that she is changing. But, on the other hand, her wish seems to be fulfilled, since she's been 10 for three years. Maybe the Nightwatcher gave her a different boon, but because she thinks she shouldn't be changing, and because she's a Returned descendant, she still looks like a 10 year old. Lift isn't 10 from 3 years, She actually had grown, Simply they still consider herself ad 10 years old. Lift asked what you said but the Nightwatcher can't do that and replied to something strange. Someone proposed that Lift is unable to mentally change but for now this is only a speculation. So Lift is a really weird one, she visited the Old Magic and asked something very strange. And the Old Magic didn't know how to treat that and answered with something equally strange. So you will eventually see what happened with Lift and things like that but suffice it to say some really weird things are going on with Lift. Her boon/curse aren't what she asked for. She didn't really believe she wasn't aging, she just really didn't want to admit the truth to herself. Not to the same extent as Shallan, but still a lot.
