Yeah, when made to actually be used and thrown easily by a normal person.

That's something that would be easily changed be a live Spren who can take literally any form.

I'm talking about a use specifically as a thrown weapon for a Radiant.

4 to 5 feet across! What are you the Hoola Hoop Warrior! Chakrams are more like 8 to 15 inches across. not enough to sever a Chasmfiends limb I imagine, Very hard to plunge into somethings heart also keep in mind if there is 2 1/2 feet of blade pointing away from you, there is equal amount of blade pointing at you. It doesn't seem practical to me. swords require caution but not as much as Chakrams. Plate wearers could probably pull it off.. inner forearms are more protected. Think of the scrutiny from the Alethi Light eyes. You would have to duel constantly just to maintain your reputation, Assuming you're using the 8 to 15 inch chakrams you could hardly kill a man without a headshot , since getting to the spine from the front would be tricky..  If, however, you're using your Hoola Hoop of death. Your movements will be impaired though with training I'm certain a person could be a combat hoola hooper, but I'm 100% certain, your nickname would be "Grey Fingers".

Shardblades are bigger than normal swords (like 5-6 feet long), so I don't see why Shardshruikens couldn't be larger. And there is something called Shardplate which could protect your hands. Or the spren could make that area dull-edged until after you throw it (Syl went from Shardblade to Shardspear in WoR).

Okay, but how would this work for a Windrunner? Could you potentially infuse the blade before you threw it, and lash it to the point of a person you want it to hit?

I'm.. not sure you can lash a Shardblade, even if it is your own. Lashing in your Shardplate is one thing, but Lashing your Shardplate itself is another. I would apply the same to Blades, given how heavily Invested they are.

I'm a bit rusty on my lashings though, do you lash to a specific point in space or a specific direction? Or can you lash it to a specific point, like a moving object, and have it track that object?

To quote myself from last time:

You don't actually lash to a target, you lash in the direction of the target, and Szeth seems to use the target as a "that way" so he doesn't have to devote as much mental focus towards where to lash the target.

I can lash you to the far wall by specifically lashing you south, but it's less mentally taxing to use the far wall as a "direction" because it is easier to be spatially aware about the room. When a battle is going on, south stops meaning anything, while the back wall is a constant.

True, but it is common that shard blades are summoned in and out of plate, a Dead Spren Shuriken I believe would be far too dangerous. I'm sure a living spren could form into anything it is required to, but I wonder to what end. Is a thrown shuriken any more deadly than perhaps a augmented quick sword, Shallan changed Patterns size before. Maybe if they really wanted to throw something they could carry thrown weapons, with WindRunners augmented by shardplate, surely anything they "Throw/Lash" could do massive damage regardless of what it hit, considering Kaladin was able to crack Shardplate with his bare feet in the fight with Adolin and the 4 shard bearers.

My guess is that it would have to be summoned in contact with the summoner, so you could summon it on your foot or something but the only really useful place to summon it would be in your hand. That is just a guess though, and it would have to take into account clothing so "in contact" wouldn't necessarily be skin contact.
