Is it hereditary to people from MaiPon, do people gain the ability to forge randomly, does everyone from MaiPon have the ability to forge, or is it something completely different? Tsidqiyah he/him Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) Like all Selish magic Forging (I will use capital F to denote the magic system from the mundane) depends on regional connection and identity. This appears to be both a blood and birthplace requirement (physical identity and cognitive identity). Unlike AonDor this is a system that apparently can be learned IF the regional requirement is met first. It should be noted that we don't know enough to say for sure what that requirement is and there is a possibility it can be learned by anybody but only in MaiPon.
