0 Argent he/him Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Yeah, it's not quite clear how it works. Even with all the Identity and Investiture trickery, there's the problem that you are allowing a non-Metlaborn (potentially) to tap a nicrosilmind.

It's commonly speculated that excisors are related to hemalurgy given the linguistic similarity to the word "execise," which in this context would refer to removing something from a soul.
