I was listening to the song "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce, and I looked at the lyrics and realized they almost perfectly describe Kaladin. The lyrics describe what the nine heralds felt when they escaped from damnation and how the experience was while the last two lines of the second last paragraphs refers to the herald of war (tale'nlin i believe) and what he felt being stuck in damnation and holding back odium for 4500 years.
