So apparently I should introduce myself

Well, I've been introduced to Elantris about a month ago and really liked it, then found out about the Cosmere, Hoid, etc, and I just thought it was awesome and had to read more. So I read the Emperor's Soul which was great, and just finished the Mistborn trilogy, which was absolutely mind-blowing (and sad, cause it's finished). I just opened Sixth of Dusk and plan on reading the Stormlight Archive after that.

I'm basically here because nobody I know has time to read, so I'm guessing here should be a good place to talk about the books.

Well I only read the Mistborn first trilogy, I haven't touched Allow of Law, Secret History, etc, and I haven't read Warbreaker or other minor Cosmere stories yet, but I'm eager to do so

Well I really love the books, so when I'm not sleeping or on Coppermind, I read (I exaggerate a bit but not that much), so that might explain the fast reading.

 

Also what's the joke about the cookies? I mean I'm guessing Ruin is about the Shard, but am I missing something? x)

I joke about figgins being hemalurgicly spiked because figgins being spiked is a reference, but I think someone just said the cookies were and everyone rolled with it.

This is basically accurate
It's an old forum tradition of giving out digital cookies and then when the Dark Alley started (Our resident Hemalurgists guild) I made the 'come to the dark side, we have cookies' reference and then the two sort of merged into the Dark Alley sneakily putting spikes into cookies and offering them to people.
