A potential worldhopper/person in the know

In chapter 6, Lift talks to a street urchin missing too many teeth for her age and talking in a strange street dialect. She left asking Lift if she was listenin', and saying that "people, they don't listen". It turns out later that the next oath Lift must speak is "I will listen to those who have been ignored". Is this a coincidence, or are we seeing someone in the know giving Lift a push the same way Ol' Whitehair did to Shallan?

I believe that this girl was relevant foreshadowing and helped Lift reach the third oath, but she didn't do it consciously. That conversation helped push Lift to realize the Words she had to speak. However, I don't think that she was purposefully trying to make her say oath.

yeah , it seems so but many world hoppers try to help save Roshar by helping the radiants find their oaths

so i think that this theory has merit

It seemed to me that that girl was used to foreshadow the Edgedancer's unique talent. Something along the idea of knowing how to communicate with others. That would help with the listening bit. No proof for this except that Lift didn't know how she knew what to say.

I also thought that Lift implied that she knew the words already but never actually spoke them aloud.

I thought the urchin was a bit weird too. Specifically the fact that the last thing she says is in "normal" speech, and happens to align with the oath Lift should say. If it's just foreshadowing, then it seemed a bit sloppy in my opinion.
