So I've checked a couple pages in this section, and haven't seen a topic really like this.

 

My girlfriends professor for one of creative writting electives has them do this exercise at least once a week. It's easy and simple, and for me personally it has helped me improve my writting. So what you do is grab an image, any image, as long is kinda powerfully resonates with you in some way. Then you write a hook sentence that goes along with the image.

It's a pretty quick trick to help you improve and more often than not its fun to see what you and other people come up with. Which I thought was a good idea for this forum.

I'll start it off. Which means we're going to start off on a really bad note.

I caught it when you originally posted it, but I got distracted after verifying that the picture was Simurgh by the Worm wiki page.
