Windrunner Savant Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I accidentally posted the same forum twice on the White Sand Prose forum, because of the internet connection I have. How do I delete one of them?
Eerongal he/him Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I gotcha covered, homeslice! Removed the dupe. next time, you will probably get a quicker response if you "report" the duplicate. Note that "reporting" a post doesn't automatically mean you're in trouble, all it does it put it in an administration queue for the mods to look at, and you're able to put in comments on why you're reporting it. it's not uncommon to get a "oops, i made a duplicate, please delete" report. 2

Isn't there an option to hide posts? There was on the old forum, which I used to delete accidental duplicates a couple times. EDIT: Yep, I can definitely hide my posts. There's a button under options to do that. Edited July 27, 2016 by The Young Bard Confirmed my theory.

Yep, hiding is also an option. That said, if it's just a double post, the mods aren't likely to mind actually removing it for you, so reporting is just fine.
