A hermalurgic spike is not only charged with another allomantic power but also with the piece of a soul, what do you think will happen to someone who is burning a spike or a part of it? 1

This has been asked and WoB says it is possible but painful. Assuming of course you mean the person is burning a spike embedded in them. 1
