Paladin Brewer he/him
Just curious, there are forums for all the books but not a general Cosmere discussion forum for topics that do not necessarily fit neatly into one book, but rather the Cosmere as a whole?
luckat she/her
It sounds like you’re looking for Cosmere Theories. It’s for all Cosmere discussion (with the exception of unpublished works), not just theories. Fair warning, it’s full of untagged Cosmere spoilers.
Paladin Brewer he/him
I rather figured that forum was only for posting theories and not also general discussion/questions. Otherwise the description is not very specific
luckat she/her
Sure, the description says theories. In practice, however, it is used for all Cosmere discussion, including questions, information collection, cross-world fights, and power applications. Also, the line between a theory and a discussion can be thin. Theories often prompt discussion. Discussion can be founded on an observation that isn't a full-blown theory, and that discussion can in turn cultivate new theories. Calling it "Cosmere Theories" emphasizes the more serious tone usually found there. The General Brandon Discussion is sometimes a better place for things that are less serious or that include non-Cosmere books, but usually any discussion about the Cosmere, especially if it involves spoilers, belongs in Cosmere Theories.
Chaos he/him
We may consider changing the title of that board to Cosmere Discussion.
