Landis963 he/him
Due to circumstances, Elantrians end up wearing very colorful outfits, which reminded me of Terrisman. Is there a known relation here? Short answer: No. Long answer: Traditional Terris garb is described as having a very specific pattern (the V-shapes in Sazed's outfit) that the Elantrians' clothes do not. Bowiespoon he/him
Elantrians wear colorful garb because there is a lack of any other cloth. Elantrians (working versions) actually have a limited choice of clothing because they are silver.
Young Bard he/him
Do you mean the people of Hallandren?
Pechvarry
I could be mistaken, but I believe CrystalShadow is essentially proposing a chronology like this: 1) Events of Elantris. Elantrians get used to wearing bright colors. Something like a badge of pride? 2) Hundreds of years pass 3) ??? 4) Scadrial, influenced by the colorful Elantrians in step 3, start a fashion line known as the Worldbringer. The Terris people flip out over it.
