Stormgate he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 In SH, we get an interesting liquid. Its first appearance is when Hoid uses it on Spanky and his oar to be able to interact effectively with it and remain in the Cognitive Realm, presumably. Its next appearance is with the Ire, the mysterious group of Elantrians(fallen Elantrians, that is. They were bald, for crying out loud. But that's for a different post) drink the substance (at least, a similar substance) daily, possibly to remain in the Cognitive Realm, possibly to survive. This substance is clearly Invested. It glows, and it keeps people in the Cognitive Realm (remember, beings of power can last longer). The question is, what is Investijuice? Where does it come from? Why didn't Hoid need to drink it? What effect exactly did it have on his oar? Does it exist in the Physical Realm? I have no other theories on this topic. 1
Khyrindor he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I kinda just thought it was some form of the Dor that they brought with them to fuel things.
emailanimal he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I thought this was just was pure Investiture looks like in Cognitive Realm. But I can be convinced that this is something else.
thek9 he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Bottled stormlight? Liquiefied breath? These things may manifest differently in the cognitive realm, so perhaps do not look exactly like their physical counterparts.
