Hey everyone!

I'm a longtime lurker and constant reader-of-theories. I've been hanging out, all cognitive-shadow-like, since Elantris was new and I had to creep in the Timewasters Guide. I figured it's been 10 years since I had a forum account, I might as well get a new one :)

Welcome, long-lost secret comrade-in-reading!  If you've been lurking for that long, then I am going to assume you already understand the dangers of accepting baked goods on this site.

Alas, I'm celiac. Baked goods are even more hazardous for me than they'd normally be.

EDIT: Althugh, there arises the interesting question of whether hemalurgy and baked goods could somehow take my affliction from me, and spike it into someone else...

To be fair, I'm not entirely certain that the Dark Alley's baked goods have any gluten.  Or any bread at all.  They tend to be primarily made out of metal...

:D

I love everything about the Dark Alley Girl Scouts, with the spikes and the muffins and cookies and various tempting baked goods. I won't be tempted.

Cookies are better than root beer.

That depends entirely on the cookie. If it's a "cookie" from the Dark Alley, the rootbeer wins, hands down. If it's an oatmeal raisin cookie, the rootbeer also wins. If it's a warm, gooey, chocolate-chip cookie (FREE of hemalurgic spikes), then I'd say cookies are better than rootbeer.
