DeadFencer Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The title is pretty self-explanatory. Which of the original three books is your favorite? It varies for me, but I'd have to say Well of Ascenion. It feels like every moment of that book is deconstructing something, and that's great.
vividox Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The Final Empire. From beginning to end, that book captivated me. The notion of an actual immortal* ruler, being introduced to Allomancy and Steel Inquisitors... all the way up to the epic conclusion. It was the first Sanderson book I read, and his version of fantasy was instantly astonishing to me. Man, I really need to give that one a re-read soon.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Hero of Ages. All the way.
Orsium he/him Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Lol I have the Kindle version of all three in one. So that one. But if I did have to pick, I'd say TFE. Getting introduced to all the characters and Allomancy, watching Vin's growth...it's what hooked me on everything else in the cosmere. 1
Who Sharded? Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The Final Empire, easily. Although the last couple hundred pages of Hero of Ages are the best part of the series. 1
spencer12347 he/him Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The Final Empire. Heroes of Ages is right below it.
Navy Seon he/him Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I entirely agree with who sharded? 1
NovaSeeker he/him Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Yeah, I was gonna say The Final Empire but... world-wide vortex of Mist pouring into Vin = THE BEST.
