Other than that we don't know much about her experiences in Shadesmar, but obviously not being dead makes it a lot easier for her to return, she still has a connection to the physical realm.

She was actually stabbed in the heart, but she was healed with stormlight.

yurisses Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 WoR spoilers I think Brandon posted on reddit(?) in recent months(?), regarding Jasnah's return, about how he wants us to understand that stormlight is really not just like pewter but more like pewter+gold compounding/self-Regrowth and that it is REALLY hard to kill a Radiant that has stormlight. So yeah, Jasnah probably never died. She healed herself before she did, (and even if she did die Stormlight still inside her body might have brought her back). She didn't enter the Cognitive Realm, like Kel, because she die, but because she Elsecalled to it. For the first time. She assumes that her spren allowed it, but her spren says "You did well, Jasnah." so Jasnah could be wrong and she just figured out how to Elsecall completely on her own. So anyway, that's how she was able to easily come back with her body, and not Kel. Jasnah teleported her entire body into the Cognitive, while Kelsier experiences the Cognitive Realm because he doesn't have a body in the first place.
