Darkness Ascendant he/him
My Reading List is jam packed for the coming weeks. Why? I need to read (almost) every single Brandon Sanderson book as well as Wheel of time. Will be reading The first 3 Mistborn Books The Reckoners series Elantris The Emperor's Soul Words of Radiance Wheel of Time as well as some short stories All in all 23 books. See you all in the next couple of months!
Sunbird she/her
I certainly know the feeling of having too many books to read! My to-read shelf on GoodReads has been hovering at a count of about 150-160 books lately. Every once in a while I have to go and prune it so it doesn't keep expanding endlessly. XD Part of my problem is that I buy hardcopies of books when I go to book signings (and there a storming LOT of signings in Utah County!) and then they sit on my shelf for ages before I get around to reading them because I am easily distracted by books on my Kindle and books from the library. I've seriously got a stack like a foot tall sitting on my nightstand of books I own but haven't read yet. At some point I need to go back and re-read all the Skulduggery Pleasant books, because I've had the final book in the series sitting on my shelf for like a year, but I haven't actually read it yet because I forgot what all led up to it. You're in for a treat if you're reading most of Brandon's work for the first time. It's a magical experience (pun very much intended). Have you read the Alcatraz books yet? They were my first exposure to Brandon's work, so they occupy a special place in my heart.

I have so many books I am not sure what to read next.... Either more Dresden Files, The Wise Mans Fear, Perdido Street Station or The Blinding Knife.

I read the skulduggery series a couple of years ago and finished Dying of the Light, it was great, in fact the poem at the start is now my favourite. have you read Maleficent 7? I was introduced to the Sanderson's work via the stormlight archive and I have read the first Alcatraz book I have Skulduggery Pleasant on my to read list, would you recommend them? I have so many books I am not sure what to read next.... Either more Dresden Files, The Wise Mans Fear, Perdido Street Station or The Blinding Knife. You should really read Skullduggery Pleasant I have never heard of the other books save for the Dresden files, they sound really interesting
Zathoth
You should really read Skullduggery Pleasant I have never heard of the other books save for the Dresden files, they sound really interesting Then I will read Skullduggery Pleasant. I have not read Perdido Street Station yet, but Orlion told me I would like it and I am taking his word for it. The other books are sequels, but I definitely recommend the first book in each series. The Name of The Wind and The Black Prism.

Sunbird she/her
I certainly recommend the Skulduggery Pleasant books, unless you're very sensitive to violence; they are rather gory. (I find it rather disturbing that the Orem library places them in the middle-grade section. o_O) I've read up through book 8 including the Maleficent Seven, so I think I've just got Armageddon Outta Here and The Dying of the Light left (both of which I have hardcopies sitting on my shelf). But as I said before, I really need to go back and just re-read the entire series so I actually know what's going on. I'm also with Kaymyth on her enthusiasm for the Dresden Files. I think some books are stronger than others, but overall the series is really good. The latest one, Skin Game, is easily my favorite, but I also thoroughly enjoyed Dead Beat.

Armeggedon Outta here was fricken amazing pardon me Although the original reason for me reading it was the pun at the front....

Sunbird she/her
Keep going. There is soooo much you haven't even scratched the surface of yet. Not to mention the plot twists in each book just get more and more mind-blowing. At the end of Skin Game, I seriously spent like a solid 5 minutes just grinning like a total lunatic and trying not to scream because it was so awesome. Armeggedon Outta here was fricken amazing pardon me Although the original reason for me reading it was the pun at the front.... I also appreciate a good pun. That's why chemistry cat jokes crack me up--all those puns on element names.
