Any Nerdfighters in here?

I've recently re-caught up with all the VlogBrothers videos, and suddenly wondered if any of you all were Nerdfighters. The bounds of Nerdfightaria reach far, and it seemed possible.

If you're not a nerdfighter, you might want to be! Though you'd probably have lots of questions, like "What is a Nerdfighter?" "How do I become a Nerdfighter?" "How do I decrease Worldsuck?" "Who the Eff is Hank?" "What's DFTBA?" "How am I supposed to get all of these inside jokes if I don't even know what the heck you're talking about, Feather?"

And the answer is, you'll have to ask me to find out!

AH! I posted a topic for this months ago! VINDICATION!

I love the V'bros. I may disagree with a good chunk of their politics, but that's neither here nor there. John has a tendency to be totally BRILLIANT on the oddest and most mundane of inspiration. I would read his stuff if I wasn't busy reading stuff like Brandon.

They've got a forum, yourpants.org , which I have an account on but don't really use. I mostly peruse the RP section which is rather chaotic.

I ought to sign up for yourpants. But I'm not on enough here, so I've been avoiding it. And YOU HAVEN'T READ JOHN'S BOOKS???? For shame. Go find the nearest copy of Paper Towns, buy/steal it, and then read it like Margo was a mistborn. (Wow, that story just got a lot more awesome. And it was pretty awesome to begin with.)

And John is definitely my favorite. I love Hank, and I'm watching his Portal 2 videos, but John's sheer brilliance at the smallest things just makes me believe in the world all over again. And he definitely has the best gigs. Question Tuesday beats Song Wednesday everytime. (Though the quark song is terribly catchy and helps in physics)

Basically, I need a professional writing mentor for a class next year and John Green is second on my (long) list of authors to ask. Brandon's first of course! (Though it's a long shot, it would be remiss of me not to even ask!)

If you want a quick runthrough, Hank Green's got the best (hankgames). He's the farthest out of the three I'm watching and has this uncanny ability to look at puzzles and intuitively figure out how they work. Toby Turner is in second (tobygames). He's got the best update schedule, (1-2 videos a day) and he's very funny, though he gets stuck in some strange places. And I'm also watching iJustine's playthrough (ijustinegaming). Well, she tries. The girl cannot wrap her mind around the portal concept. If you do decide to watch her, make sure you put a pillow on your desk to avoid excessively painful headdesk.
