Not sure why Malazan fans need good luck in particular. I am a deeply devoted Malazan fan and I do feel fortunate to have found this engaging fantasy epic.

But, err, i said "good luck" because the linked topic was a giveaway for an ARC to a Malazan novella, so i was wishing anyone who entered luck

I'm going to be guilty of thread necro on this one, because I wanted to post about Malazan but not start a new thread.

I'm curious, for anyone who has re-read the series (A crime I'm guilty of committing at least twice), what was your favorite "Ah HAH" moment, what did you catch the second time around that you missed the first?

Mine would probably have to be

Noticing all of the clues spread throughout the series pointing to Whiskeyjack as Mason of Death, and eventual gatekeeper of Hood's realm

I would have to say the importance the "Spiritsong (?)" played in the ascendance of the bridgeburners. Also, the weird behavior of Quick Ben rubbing his face as he accesses the other souls he has.
