Snowball Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Hey i'm a 23 year old from norway and was introduced to the stormlight archives this year.and i like Brandons style really well kind of hard to find material to match him now though.well anyways somthing about the stormlight archives is really bugging.I have been through the two first books now a few times. is it just me or does most ppl seem to be showing sings of bad emotions? and when kaladin gets annoyed or angry it just seems like it spikes to the top.and ppl seem to base their lives on cheating each othere. 4
Zathoth Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Kaladin is suffering from extreme depression. From my own experiences it is pretty accurate. Alethi society is indeed very heavy on subtle politics and backstabbing. Thats the way their society works. Leave a friend on the battlefield and no one cares, call him out on it in public and everyone loses their minds. Welcome to the shard! 1
Fatebreaker he/him Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Welcome to the Madness Have an upvote and a cookie AS for the emotional state of Rosharians, maybe they just don't get enough sleep. Or they're worried about the endless revenge war. Could be either one. 2

Perestein Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Good to see fellow Norwegians here, welcome!Like these guys hint at, Brandon Sandersons style includes a lot of real- life problems as well as the magic and the Epicness. :-)Be consumed at your own peril...Pelle 1
