I've recently become quite a big fan of Brandon Sanderson when I read Mistborn and the Way of Kings after finishing his brilliant conclusion to WOT. I have quite high hopes for the rest of his work so I expect to be around for a while ... worse luck you! 1

Smokestone Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Hey, also a newbie to the forums here, though a longtime Sanderson fan...the original Mistborn trilogy remains my favorite of his works so far (the ending of The Hero of Ages brought me close to tears...that doesn't happen to me much in fantasy novels), but I've certainly had fun with the rest of the canon. And of course, Kaladin is a stud. 1
